Youssef Mrani Alaoui

I work at the intersection of AI and business strategy. Currently, I'm the AI Strategy & Innovation Manager at Toronto Boutique Apartments, one of the largest short-term rental operators in Canada, where I design and deploy AI systems — from voice bots to automated reporting — that drive real operational impact. I'm also finishing my B.Com in Business Technology Management at Concordia University in Montreal.

Before this, I was a research assistant at the University of Toronto's Operations Research & AI Lab, where I contributed to benchmarking frameworks for evaluating LLM reasoning in financial applications under the supervision of Prof. Amine Aboussalah. I've also built real-time data pipelines with Apache Kafka at Hightech Payment Systems across Morocco and Spain.

I grew up in Rabat, Morocco, and now live in Montreal. I speak French and Arabic natively, English fluently, and enough Spanish to get by. I'm interested in how organizations adopt AI at scale, digital transformation beyond the buzzwords, and the craft of building things that actually work.
